Kyō no kai: Granted Natori
Natori: Natori is equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Japanese Classical dance. The head instructor, Bandō Hirohichirō, will recommend students who are accomplished in the mastery of Japanese Classical dance to the Bandō School in Tokyo, Japan. Hirohichirō then instructs his recommended students to master Nagauta “Matsu no Midori”, the exam piece that will be performed in Tokyo in front of the headmaster (oiemoto) and five designated testing teachers of the Bandō School. When the student passes the exam, the student is bestowed a professional stage name and officially becomes a member of the Bandō School of Japanese Classical Dance.
